This high-quality 4-gallon waste bin was originally designed in 1939. Today the bin is internationally recognized as a design classic, and in November 2009 it was accepted into the architecture and design collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
The 4-gallon size is great for smaller kitchens, mudrooms, and even nurseries. Hand-assembled in Denmark the bin is crafted from powder-coated steel, stainless steel, and rubber parts that include a specially designed damper mechanism that closes the lid smoothly and traps in odors.
